Great managers build great relationships, set goals and effectively coach their employees and team members. This session looks at building great connections with employees and other key stakeholders.
This training consists of three (3) sessions.
Session 1: Foundations of Communication
In this session, you will be able to be more effective in:
Session 2: Effective Communication Strategies
In this session, you will learn the importance of people feeling seen, and, you will learn and practice the art of connecting with people authentically. Doing so will enable you to:
This session combines theory and an in-class exercise to bring together the concept and practice.
Session 3: Applied Communication Techniques
In this session, we will cover how to have difficult conversations, and how to develop messaging and motivational communication with your team. By the end of the session, you will have learned how to:

Payment of course fees will be due a week before the first class. We accept cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, Money Order or cheque payable to New Brunswick Community College (ÂÌñÂÛ̳).
Participants must be a domestic applicant (Permanent resident or Canadian Citizenship).
Withdrawal/Refunds: Requests for withdrawal from Continuing Education courses must be made within 20% of course duration. Refunds may take 4-6 weeks to process. An administrative fee may apply.
